Travelling in Alaska I have noticed an interesting thing. Attached are some photos of an aboriginal orthodox cemetery, orthodox from back when Alaska belonged to Russia. Those spiritual houses resemble much ones I saw in Mexico!

Exit Glacier

Hello,

I have added another gallery. Exit Glacier near Seward en Alaska. From the first time you do not realize the whole greatness of the glacier. Only after several kilometres of hike up the mountainous surface you start to understand that you have walked along only 10% of the glacier; only after descending to it on steep, rocky edges you understand its force; only standing in front you feel that you are looking at an icy wall sometimes rising up tenths of floors; only after looking inside its blueish isights you start to understand its history counting thousands of years; only by seeing rivers rushing out of it drop by drop you realize how fragile they are.

Denali National Park and Preserve

Hello,

I have put two new galleries on my web site. Denali National Park and Preserve is located in Interior Alaska and contains Denali (Mount McKinley), the highest mountain in North America (6194 metres)! This is the highest mountain in the world from the point of view of elevation from the ground to the top, which presents a challange to the climbers. That makes it impressive for tourists too because it is surrounded by almost plains and can be seen from averywhere. The mountain is visible only 10% of time and I was lucky for 10% as I just saw the top and the bottom of it) Denali is home to a variety of Alaskan birds and mammals, including grizzly and black bears. There are also caribou, dall sheep, moose, marmots, ground squirrels, beavers, pikas, hares, foxes, wolves. I was lucky to see and to take picture most of them.
